Linguine al grano duro

With their oval cross section, linguine are a wide type of spaghetti. Their outstanding property is their high capacity to absorb sauce. Try combining mussels or seafood with these linguine; there is an almost unlimited number of combinations. Add a flavoursome tomato sauce, some Parmesan, a little olive oil and a touch of freshly ground pepper for a hearty pasta dish that is quick to prepare. On another note, it takes linguine around three days to turn from fresh to dried pasta.
