Description
Olive oil is called “extra virgin” once certain analytical parameters fall below a defined level and the quality is second to none. Daniele olive oil falls short of these specific values by as much as 80%, depending on the year and harvest. Fabrizio Serni guarantees the fantastic quality of our oil.
In the bottle, the oil looks a greenish colour with yellow gold accents. The oil is intense yet extremely pleasant on the nose and deliciously fruity on the palate, with notes of grass, tomato, artichoke, and even almond. Its flavour can be described as halfway between mild and intense.
Olive oil is a kitchen staple for all kinds of recipes. It can be used cold on salads or in marinades for starters or meat and fish, or used hot for braising, roasting and frying. While talking about its uses, it’s important to mention that olive oil tolerates heat (at the level required for frying, for example) extremely well.
